Fantastic facilities - almost a shame to only stay the one night Lovely pub just down the road Low tech key handover was great

Not easy to find in the dark Wash hand basin not big enough for those of us who have to shave Basin plug did not stop outflow of water - makes it difficult to shave.

Comfortable and Clean.

The accommodation is done to a good standard with about eight cottages together facing onto a common garden area. Our cottage itself was clean and comfortable with a small bag of cleaning materials provided including dishwasher tablets - a very nice touch. The WiFi and TV worked well. The beds were extremely comfortable and the blinds on the windows worked very well at night. There was lots of parking available for our two cars. The whole place was very dog friendly. The large bins in the car park made it easy to dispose of our rubbish. The pub across the road has a nice beer garden looking on to the canal but the beer and food were average. The Barley Mow is a 20 minute walk along the canal and was a bit better. Best pub we found was the Wheatsheaf at Maids Moreton - no food, but a beautiful dog friendly thatched pub serving amazing beer with a lovely garden. A proper old fashioned pub.

The patio/terrace area for our cottage was non existent and was actually just a thoroughfare for the laundry room next door. I think our particular cottage may have been better suited to a family than a couple - some of the other units looked more suitable for us. The noise from the laundry room was audible over the TV. The TV was basic Freeview with no Smart TV available.

Superb

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything you need to self cater. Pub right over the road, (Friday and Saturday werevery busy, make sure you book). Shame the weather was so bad we couldn't make use of the outdoor tables and chairs. Bed comfy. Express check in worked a treat! Would stay again if I was in the area.
