Super charming. Honestly awesome stay!

Beautiful, charming rooms and historic building. Awesome restaurant and breakfast. Lots of cute touches like lovely tea and wine, and cute, delicious cookies by the bed. The staff were also extremely accommodating and communicative with special requests. Great experience all around!

Restaurant / lounge closes a bit early (though we were there during the off season). On the expensive side, but service and quality well worth it.

Loved our stay at this beautiful manor. Our room plus the bar and restaurant had stunning decor. Great cooked breakfast, and dinner at the restaurant was amazing. Would definately stay here again if in Christchurch.

Fabulous starting point for our NZ adventure.

EVERYTHING! Francesca's warm welcome made us feel right at home. She showed us to our gorgeous room where we were found yummy goodies and very welcome wine. The location is a nice walk away from the tram depot (which we highly recommend) and the botanical gardens. Breakfast was delicious! This was our second stay and we hope to visit again soon!

loved the way they had kept the original feel of a manor and how beautifully furnished it all was. the bedding was superb. food excellent and staff extremely tentative. 5* for sure.
