    Didn't meet our expectations unfortunately
    The location was great. Richard was very friendly and welcoming.
    We left same day - didn't sleep over. I made up a story about us going back home as Richard seem to be a very nice person and didn't want to hurt his feelings. We booked out of the guest house and stayed elsewhere. The place was not what was described. we stayed in many guesthouses before. I was under the impression the family room has a Barbeque a a small seating area. The description and the pictures were very deceiving for us. This was not what we expected. Even the wi-fi was not available in our room - it was more in the commune area. Everything was just not very clear when I click on the room description.

    A cosy guesthouse in a prime location, hosted the most generous and delightful host.
    Ekhaya guesthouse as the name suggests is truly a home away from home. We were warmly welcomed by Richard the host, who went out of his way to to make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. He generously shared stories about his life and these made for great entertainment during breakfast. Ekhaya is located in a safe area that is just minutes away from the beach, all major shopping centers and most tourists attractions. The house itself is neat, has several television sets with all subscriptions, and a cost sitting room that guests are welcome to use anytime. One can also make use of the many books that are around the house and in the rooms. Theres a pool and entertainment area outside. Richard made breakfast every day and offered all coffees and snacks in the kitchen as we wished.
