Felt like staying at a country chateau.

This was a little slice of heaven just outside of busy Aix. We felt like we were in the country, but the city is only a 10-15 minute drive. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite big, with spacious modern bathrooms. Bed and pillows were comfortable for me, but the bed was too hard for my sister. The grounds are lush and gorgeous, with views of the rolling hills. We enjoyed the breakfast, although it was quite simple. Dinner at the restaurant was good, but on the pricier side compared to other places we ate. We loved sitting outside on the couches and enjoying some wine or a cocktail. Overall, a great stay and a great price.

Since its an old farmhouse there is no lift. Breakfast was included in the price but was a bit poor

A beautiful place - but something a bit lacking with the staff ...

We had a lovely large room at the back of the property which was fine as we didn't book an upgraded room - below us there were rooms with delightful terraces and private garden! We had two large windows, a lot of space, antique furniture and a fridge and tea making facilities - the room was quiet, peaceful and cool. The building is a lovely old characterful property, set in beautiful grounds with a fantastic swimming pool (exceeded expectations) and table tennis - both of which we highly enjoyed! We also very much enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant which was very tasty and beautifully presented. Our breakfast was also served in the conservatory and was delightful!

Difficult to describe sometimes a feeling that you get from a place - I mean it was was lovely, but somehow we felt we weren't really welcome! I guess it started when arriving at 3.40pm we were told bluntly that we were too early and our room probably wouldn't be ready - usually rooms are ready at 2pm in my experience. Later on we sat outside on the terrace and were told to move as the seats were reserved! And told to sit outside the restaurant for our pre dinner cocktails (which was still a nice area) - but then no-one came to serve us, so when I went inside and asked for a Spritz, my pronounciation of which was apparently so bad that it sent the young waiter in panic mode saying he couldn't understand English! Luckily the lady serving in the bar saved the day and was perfectly lovely! And after that we enjoyed our dinner and stay. But overall we have stayed at more friendly places where we have felt more welcome.

Wonderful chilled ambience and amazing garden bar/restaurant.

Such a wonderful ambience in the hotel. Its not the most snazzy (but by no means bad) but everything about it is chilled and welcoming and the garden, bar, restaurant and pool area is such a wonderful place to chill out - especially under the lights in the evening. Will definitely stay again.

The room is relatively simple but functional.

Not what we expected from the photos on site, an expensive overnight stay.

Lovely setting and good views, nice outside seating area for dinner and the food was good, although menu was hard to interpret even though we had a good grasp of French I will politely say, it somehow was lost in translation. Enjoyable all the same. The room was a little basic but adequate for a one night stop. Breakfast was OK but have had far better choice elsewhere.

Facilities in the room, very limited on sockets. A kettle was provided but no where to plug it in and no tea, coffee etc provided. The whole emphasis of hotel was a social bar/ restaurant for the younger local people with loud music playing most of the day/evening.

Its been one of the highlights of my trip and I wish I could have stayed longer

It is a beautiful hotel in a traditional Provenal house. The staff was very nice and helpful. The owners were extremely kind and welcoming. I am a picky eater and I found the food to be very good and fresh. I wish I could have stayed longer.

It is ideal for people traveling with a car. It is very close to town, like 10 minutes away, but if you are not driving the best other option is Uber.
