Lovely Place from origins

- great view from Balkony - local people instead of foreigners investment resorts - simple but clean bungalow

- music from other locations on the beach is sometimes very loud - the bed was not made for us

Daya hill is a very simple bungalow resort, the most amazing things is the view from the hill bungalows. If you like to stay in a quiet place this is the best resort of the island.. thank you See you next time Sofia and Alessia

Exceptional

If you want to have a digital detox, this is the place to go. Peaceful and relaxing. I had booked for 2 nights but made the mistake of putting in the incorrect date, Daya honoured my 2 night stay, that alone speaks to their character.. Basic. Clean and tidy but what a view. Probably best to leave the heavy suitcase as it is on a hillside and is a little bit of a trek up from thr beach.

The view is exceptional and the walk from the beach is extremely cultural with a walkway around the headland over the sea.

The facilities were extremely basic and perhaps the price of over 1000 baht is overpriced. 700 would have been more realistic.

simple bungalows with nice view, just in my opinion overpriced

the view from the bungalow was truly nice. And lady at the reception was helpful!

the climb to the bungalows was really challenging. Also be aware that the reception is at the main beach (Pattaya beach).

the only thing I liked is that I had the room for myself

it was very precarious, dingy, awful mattress and sheets, terribly worn out towels and instead of saying private bathroom it should say running cold water available since there was no real shower and the wc didnt flush, you had to pour a bucket of water over the waste... I wouldnt mind all this if it had been correctly stated and if it had costed at least 1/3 of what they charge, they charge you in advance probably because when one sees it one really wants to stay elsewhere

Bad value for money

Very close to the beach + staff are lovely. All in all it was fine, especially if you don't mind basic accommodation and having to navigate your way up a hill at night. However for the price it was completely not worth it, so for that reason we weren't very happy.

We stayed in the garden view bungalow up the hill. The bungalows are very basic and we had a couple cockroaches and spiders which we didn't love (but if you don't mind then it's OK!). You can book their beach bungalows which I'd recommend doing as you have to hike up a hill to get to the bungalows and there is no lighting and a lot of trip hazards. However it takes 2 minutes to walk down and right on the beach (which was our favourite beach). The facilities itself are basic, and the rooms are over priced for what they are (koh lipe is very expensive). I would pay a bit more to stay somewhere nicer as it wasn't worth it for us. The staff are really nice, but all in all I wouldn't come back.
