Disappointing

Breakfast & location

No lift, my mother was disabled and I was told that there were no rooms available on the ground floor. I struggled to get her up the stairs, and no staff member offered to help.

DONT EVER GO!!!

PISS STAINED BED!!! BLOOD COVERED MATTRESS PROTECTOR!!! NO LIGHTS OUTSIDE.. MOULD IN BATHROOM WITH BAD SMELL WITH A DIRTY BATH N NO REMOTE CONTROL WITH DEAD SPIDERS EVERYWHERE!!!

Reception staff watch you come in and dont move to help you. Food was absolutely disgusting. No staff!!! Not worth a penny. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE INDEED!!!

Disappointing

Bad Choice

Breakfast is fine. Staff for breakfast is nice and friendly.

When we entered the hotel, there was no staff around and we tried to find the reception by ourselves. Then we saw a female staff coming to our way but she didn't greet or show any sign to help. We waited in the hobby for a few minutes and then a male staff helped us to check in. When we booked this room online, we wouldn't know there would be a new year eve gala holding that night on 31, Dec, 2023. If so, I would definitely NOT book this hotel at all. Even though the manager said he tried to email me and call me to let me know about the event, I cannot cancel the booking nor get my money back as it's booked on 29th, Dec, 2023 and the free cancellation could only be done before 48 hours. The loud music and live band was on until midnight around 1:00-1:30am and we couldn't sleep until then. Again, if I knew about this event beforehand which the hotel could clearly stated it on the page, I can make my own choice rather than spent 152 for a sleepless night. Other disappointments come from the facilities inside of the room. -Boiling kettle is full of limescale. -Towels and bed sheets are in light yellow color. -Radiator in the bathroom does not work. -Sofa bed surface is so uneven that my children said they hardly fell asleep.

Beautiful place brilliant team

Greeted on arrival, room amazing, we booked the honeymoon suite for a girls night in, all our needs were catered for, pizza ordered to our room, great pizza , nothing was to much trouble, hot tub was perfect and the chill out lounge in honeymoon suite was perfect, breakfast in morning was super nice, staff here definitely work so very hard to make your stay wonderful, which is why we always recommend and keep going back, booked up for new year's gala night and just got back from another stay here and again was an amazing night and everything was 10 out of 10, this hotel is beautiful at Xmas time, they put a lot of effort into making it look beautiful.well done crossways team, we look forward to our next stay. Been coming here for around 8 years now and never disappointed.

Overall pleased and would stay again and breakfast very good.

Superb mattress and bathroom , nice view and lovely breakfast environment.

Very dark room, I made tea by torchlight! Difficulty checking in as our prepaid booking was not showing on your check in screen. This was not helped by the fact the reception staff had difficulty understanding I had already paid due to language barriers. He could have done with more training.

Lovely room , large with seating area , spa bath which was great , good selection of tea, coffee etc Comfy bed Great location

Walks were thin so could hear a dog barking , a man snoring etc but I would still come back again

Exceptional

The room, reception, and bar area were beyond expectation. All staff were amazing and made us feel welcome. We loved it, thank you.

I don't have any complaints, but If I had to complain about anything, it would be the green light on the emergency lighting outside the window, which was very bright in the middle of the night.
