Excellent accomodation

Very clean and welcoming. It's a really easy walk into the centre of York. The road is quiet and there are no noises outside. Parking outside the house is almost impossible but there's a 10 minute to unload. The nearest carpark (Nunnery) is a 2 minute walk away. We'd certainly return.

Great place to stay at a good price with welcoming touches and only a short walk to the centre.

Lovely warm home with bags of charm and comfy beds. Nice little touches, like a mini prosecco and chocs on arrival. Host Jelle is fantastic, great communication and very quick to respond.

Stairs were steep and my aunty in her 80s struggled a bit. Not a big deal for most, but be aware if you have mobility challenges. Could be improved handrails with all the way to the top.

Great location, the photos of the house are to be taken with a pinch on salt, not the cleanest house

Cosy and the location was great

Its was tired which is to be understood. Unfortunately its wasnt clean, we had to wash most of the kitchen dishes, pans and utensils prior to use. The kitchen has had an unpleasant smell of cat food.

Great base to explore York.

A great little property for a base in the centre of York. Very well appointed with everything youd need. Bathroom is downstairs and through the kitchen, lovely to see the original layout being retained. The stairs are steep and tight so be careful with children.

The thermostat kept re-setting the heating to 25 degrees centigrade so we were a bit toasty at times. The attention to detail with the finish and cleaning just let the overall place down a little, but otherwise very good.
