the overall atmosphere, the friendliness, the view

We booked a room with a balcony but the door to the balcony couldn't open, the water heater was not working, or, even worse, without ground wire. Also, the picture of the room depicted a much spacious room but the real one, we could barely move about. The saddest thing is the air condition remote could not control anything even to turn off. We booked here because I visited here last time and loved the view and the friendly atmosphere so much I wanted to enjoy it again. So this is barely a complaint, more like a truthful comment for the place to improve.

The place is great for the price but the staff should be more honest with the customers

The view was amazing specially from the restaurant area but also from the room was so good, the beach is beautiful but has some rocks so it is not the best beach to swim in . The location is great if you do not mind the distance to the city center. There were so many snorkeling equipment and kayaks offered for free.

The staff were ok but they were taking advantage of the isolated area and if you needed to rent a bike or to book a tour the price was different from the original service provider. the bathroom had a bad smell and lacked even a hairdryer .The bed was not comfortable. If you book the room with breakfast you will have limited options., so better order order when you are at the hotel .

Mongolian tent with beautiful sea view Nice and cozy restaurant area

The tent was partially broken, the moskito net had several holes and the airflow windows could not be opened, therefor it was unnecessary hot and stuffy. In general the whole area of the resort needs to be renovated, the paths are broken and not in good condition.

Little local paradise

Maybe the best place to stay in Koh Chang if you like i quiet and away from the crowd, close to nature. We loved it. Very nice and friendly staff. Good comfortable room with a view to the beach. Nice breakfast. Perfect location - private beach good for snorkeling, next to the pier and the shops but very local, like living in a village.

A bit pricey but it's worth it. If the breakfast was included, that would have been pitch perfect!

Paradise! 5 stars! Affordable prices with quality

Everything! When I arrived after a long trip to be welcomed so kindly! The staff are amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and I was in heaven. I stayed 4 nights in bungalow 15. The views were wonderful. Steps up to room but it is worth it. Would recommend if you are looking for some peace! Snorkelling and bikes free! I would definitely go back when Im back in Koh Chang! Thank you!

Paradise

You only need one word for this resort and that word is Paradise. Accommodation 10 out of 10,food and drink 10 out of 10 ,staff 10 out of 10,lots to do,guests can use bicycles free of charge also can take the canoes out free of charge,hire mopeds daily to see the rest of the island.Snorkel from the bay infront of the restaurant ,take a walk or cycle to Bang Bao Pier fishing village and experience what many of the shops ,restaurants and bars have to offer.Or the flip side to this is you can actually take a book and just chill out the whole time you are here.Highly recommend a visit .

Overall, highly recommended!

I really like the bungalow that we have booked (the first one from the stairs, first one on the right if facing the restaurant) because of the clear view of the sea. I looked at the weather before we went to the island and the forecast said there will be frequent rain throughout the days of our stay so I figured it would still be great to sit on the balcony even if it did and it did NOT disappoint! The view in the morning and evening was glorious, and paired with the sound of the waves, was just absolute heaven! We were able to rest well as it is also located in the quiet part of the island. It's also near Bang Bao Village which has a 7/11 and other places where you can shop and eat. You can also just chill on the beach chairs or the restaurant and admire the view. You can snorkel or kayak or just bike around the area (all for free!) if you have no solid plans for the day. The staff and the animals in the property (cats and dog) was just really sweet. The staff were also really accommodating. Our booking came with a free breakfast and it was good. Also, you must take advantage of the restaurant's Happy Hour as the drinks are discounted! (Wasn't able to see it for the first few days, sad ) Their food is delicious as well. The room itself was not so big but was comfortable with a ref and a kettle. The air conditioner works well and the water pressure was great. The room is cleaned every 2-3 days. The bed was comfy and we were also able to request an additional blanket. Overall, I highly recommend this place for the price and the quality of stay. (Just realized I wasn't able to take a pic of the inside of our room ). We rented a motorbike from the ferry pier in Trat as the location of the property is, uhhm, quite far from the Sapparot Pier. But soooo worth it! Be careful when driving as the road has sharp curves and are really steep on some areas. P.S. Do NOT feed the monkeys.

Not really a big deal but the first few days, it was dark going up to the bungalows at night as there were no lights so we used our phone's flashlight. The light outside our room was not working throughout our stay (we notified them about it but it was not fixed). They were able to put some lights up there when other guests on the other bungalows arrived.

Cliff Cottage is the perfect spot away from everything on Koh Chang. The staff was so nice and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfy with excellent views, and the food is excellent. Would love to stay again next time I come to Koh Chang!
