Clean, convenient and very friendly central hotel

The location close to the centre of Ghent and its facilities and the ease of getting around the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was a clean, convenient hotel.

Im not sure we realised that the City Garden was an annexe to the main Hotel de Flandre. We spent quite a lot of time looking for it - there were no notices. The rooms are very modern and very dark! They were quite cold under foot with Lino rather than carpet. Great in a hot summer but not so good in December

It was really difficult to find as the check-in is in another hotel and this is nowhere explained. Lost 15 min to find it.

Amazing stay and we would definitly come back

The room was clean, we had hot water and a strong WIFI. It was spacious and plenty of room for two people. Chair to sit on, this is fantastic so you dont have to sit on the bed all the time. There is place for your luggage. A water heater with tea and coffee. The location is 2min walk to the city, boat tours and restaurants.

We werent informed that that the reception was a few meters back at the Hotel de Flandre. Luckily we asked a kind local.

Pleasant

The location.

The toilette and the bathroom are not separated from the sleeping room. Not very pleasant. We had no idea that "The check in is done in Hotel de Flandre on the same street". This important message was sent on the next day of our stay.

Location was exceptional.

The room was full of mosquitos. The window was closed but when we arrived our room was full of mosquitos and we had trouble sleeping because of this. Be careful of this when you get your room.
