Amazing 10/10 stay with great people.

Everything. This is the definition of a 10/10 stay. Very clean, great facilities (pool, yoga, restaurant), delicious food, great location, great value for money and most importantly amazing service!

A lovely little oasis

The owner Adel and other staff are so helpful. I contacted him in advance to arrange a taxi from Varkala and I also cant speak highly enough about Sajad our driver. He also drove us to Munnar when we left, and stopped along the way to show us great tourist spots. The grounds are also very pretty, we didnt have the best weather so didnt see much wildlife, but on a better day Im sure theres plenty.

Highly recommend

We stayed at Chrissie's hotel for one night. The owner and the staff all were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The place is about 10 to 15 minute walk from the Periyar tiger reserve. We went on the one night Periyar Tiger trail the next day leaving our bags at the hotel. On our return we were allowed to have a shower and they also served us tea which was extremely hospitable of them... I highly recommend this place.

Really a great place. The owner / host Adel rearranged everything we desired on a very short notice. He alalso gave us the best tip for our remaining trip, to take the public ferry from to Kottayam to Allepey instead of an expensive boat house tour - which was beautiful and saved us a full day. Definitely recommended!

Most friendly and helpful staff ever! Excellent place, you feel like being in the middle of the forest. Great yoga shala and pool. Great breakfast! For sure one of the best places I ever stayed in india. If in Thekkady make yourself confortable and stay at Chrissie's Hotel

Nothing really, everything went very well, if I didn't have a flight I would for sure have extended my stay.

Maldivian hospitality in Thekkady

The hospitality which matches with a resort in Maldives. The homemade breakfast which was mind blowing. Natural environment to give you forest feel. Noiseless and private property nearby main area.

Best place in Thekkady!

We loved this hotel! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt so well looked after by Adel and his team! They will organise anything you need and anywhere you want to go, nothing is too much trouble. The property is lovely with beautiful artwork on the walls and in the rooms. Breakfast was amazing and had plenty of homemade choices, even home-made cheese which was soooo good! We saw plenty of monkeys from our balcony too! There are lots of trees and gardens around the property which make it feel really like a jungle! It is within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Stay here you will not be disappointed! Thank you!

Charming ecological hotel surrounded by nature, with superb staff

The staff was very welcoming and organized. All questions/requests were promptly addressed. Breakfast was great and the staff made sure to provide some food even for our very early mornings. Property itself is quite basic, but charming, set up in a beautiful garden and with a strong ecological focus.
