    Château Ysard is a family house located 12km from Bordeaux, built in the 18th century. In the heart of a 7 hectare park, it was renovated in 2016. The cottage (46 m²), independent and adjoining the owners' house can accommodate up to 3 adults.

    A dream stay! The hosts are wonderful and the property is stunning!
    Pool and cooking facilities are 10/10 the grounds, the building the hosts close to a good supermarket strong WIFI
    This was our fault but we didnt realise how hard it would be to get a taxi into Bordeaux. you definitely need to have your own car. We booked this for the Rugby World Cup as the hotels in the city were too expensive but the taxi/Uber situation was quite a challenge. But that had nothing to do with the property or the hosts or the stay. That was all 100%.

    The place where God resides when he is France ...
    This place has all you need. It's very quiet and you feel like you have the garden and pool all for yourself. The cottage is well equipped for a long stay, it's easy to self-cater. The pool is large, the sunbeds very comfortable. Annick and Marc are the perfect hosts. Inside you find a complete guide to the area they themselves assembled and also plenty of guidebooks and leaflets ... It's wonderfull to see the sun set over the garden from your own private porch ...
    The place was heaven. If we would change one thing, it's the shower. It takes quite some exercise to shower and not wet the bathroomfloor ...

    Beautiful grounds, lovely pool, well maintained cottage with all amenities and a comfortable bed. We loved having the bbq too. This was a perfect retreat but is only a short distance to a supermarket and wineries. Anick and Marc were very helpful.
    There is nothing to dislike.

    The place was spacious with a double bedroom, a big bathroom with a shower over a bathtub and a sort of living room with a table and a sofa bed. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of storage or spaces for luggages, etc. Theres also a small fridge, a kettle and a microwave. I could then make a coffee (I took a coffee press) and have a picnic dinner (I also took knives, forks, plates, with me). The breakfast was served in the room. Fresh orange juice, coffee, fruit salad, croissant, bread, butter, cheese or ham as I dont eat jam. Its also very quiet a night.
    I was there earlier March and it was still chill in the evening and at night. And the central heating wasnt really set high enough 19 degrees is not what I call a comfortable temperature. For a night or two, its all right because I had my iPad but maybe a tv could be a good investment. The sofa bed is more a banquette with cushions than a proper sofa.

    A Gem in Entre deux Mers
    Annick and Marc are warm, welcoming and generous Hosts. They created a superb spot to stay in the Entre 2 Mers. We stayed recently in # Chteau Marcellus which was such a expensive disappointment... owners are misleading about the facilities and have no idea what Hospitality is about. I strongly recommend to them to get a crush course with Annick and Marc. From the room decorations to the pool and Quality breakfast Chateau Ysard gets it all spot on! Sadly they had only one night available...we could have stayed there few days.
