Too expensive for what you get

The staff was very friendly and welcomed me with open arms, the road to the resort (coming from the main road) was a paved road and the massage on the beach was great.

All the photos shown on Booking.com were inaccurate. The place is old and it just needs a good renovation which is why it doesn't match with the price you pay per night.

FALSE PROMISES

I liked the beach and the view of the cove.

I specifically booked this room 621 because it had a jacuzzi with a view. But the jacuzzi was not working and the staff kept telling me they fix it. On my second day I asked them again for the third time to fix it while I'm not in the room. They only changed the water and the bubble was not coming. I asked again and they came after hours to show me there's a power switch and they turned it on but the jacuzzi was not working again and the water was always cold in it. On my second night they said you need to wait for the water to warm up and I again asked them to go there and do whatever they know to make it warm by the time I'll be back and that night again it was not fixed. I even asked them to change the room if it's not working after two days. The last day they sent a message through booking that the heater was broken and they can't fix it. I basically paid money for a broken jacuzzi otherwise I could have rent a cheaper room. The water in the shower too was a problem it wouldn't stay on a set heat and kept getting hotter than I set it. The sheets were never completely clean. The first sheets on the bed on the first night after check in had spots on them. I asked them to change them but all the new sheet every day was not clean completely. I didn't ask for new sheets anymore since I understood they don't really have any clean sheets and that the jacuzzi not working and their not fixing it was evident that no clean sheets would make their way to my room anyways.

Facilities are very run down, tou and Xie need to be replaced as they have discoloured. No longer white. Swim pool was green! Hasnt been maintained.

Koh Kood is a very beautiful island. But this resort is crap

All the rest. Run down facilities. Needs a complete overhaul. No value for money anymore. It could be or was once a very nice resort.

It was ok not bad but not fantastic. The hotel could do with a little bit of TLC.

The room itself the beach front pool villa was fantastic right on the beach and a very picturesque view in the morning and evenings. The staff at the restaurant where fantastic and a very big help

We actually had to phone every day late in the afternoons and request our room to be cleaned and the bed made. We felt like we were being a Hassell to the hotel reception staff by asking this every day.

Disappointing Stay

The location, that's about it...

Nothing looks like the pictures. Everything in this hotel needs to be renovated. Upon arriving, we were told the pool and spa were closed. Very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Marcus was exzellent. He was always motivated, speaks english very well and is solution focused.

Chams House is a high potential resort. Unfortunately it isnt well managed and a lot needs to be refurbished. If the stuff gets more support and the property gets its refurbishment, I will be there for future holiday.

Waste of money . Absolutely awful . Ruined the holiday . Such a beautiful island aswell

Room was lovely

The pool was disgusting you couldnt get in it as most tiles were broken , you would have cut your feet open . The spa was shut The shop was shut The breakfast room was filthy all the table cloths looked like they had never been washed . So we couldnt eat there Over 40 steps up hill to get from the room to the breakfast room . The private road in was dangerous on a moped We basically slept there and went to a different hotel to eat and use there pool then went back to bed .
