Memorable stay....in a good way !!

Great location, which is so important for a city break ! Excellent value for money : the hotel deserves more then its one-star rating. The hotel manager made a special effort to offer guests a Christmas dinner on Christmas eve, which was much appreciated as most restaurants were closed. Food was good, the main pork dish was excellent ! Shower was the best you can get ! I would recommend this hotel to anybody on a modest budget.

Our room didn't have a clear window looking out. I guess we should have asked for one when we booked. But it wasn't the end of the world.....we got used to it.

Really recommend this hotel if you come to Cadiz. They suoposed to change it to 3 or 4 stars instead of 1 star hotel .

The room is excellent. Feels like 4 stars hotel room, big, clean and brand new. We stayed in 5 different hotels during our trip and this hotel is the cheapest but the best one. The location also perfect. Near to the Cathedral and the market.

Location and staff amazing!

Location is unbeatable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room has essentials, so all well.

Room on ground floor, noisy and the little window offers no fresh air at all. It didn't bother me much cause I wasn't staying in the room except for sleeping, but if u care abt this, take a room on higher floors ;-)

Nice Stop in Cadiz

This feels like a basic hotel but it it was clean and comfortable, and within easy walking distance of the heart of Cadiz. It had all the accomodations we needed for three people. There was even a nice rooftop patio to enjoy at the end of the night and the front desk gave us some nice wine glasses for a bottle of wine we had purchased elsewhere. We did not sign up for the morning breakfast. Be sure to visit Taberna La Manzanilla while you are here for some unique sherries and history from the proprietor. We were only here for one night but I would recommend it.

Great location. A few minutes from the Cathedral and car parking. The room was clean and very comfortable. The reception staff were really nice. They were very welcoming and friendly. Our Spanish is very poor but their English was excellent which was really helpful. If I were visiting Cadiz again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Casual Duende. It was great value.

There was nothing about it that I didn't like.
