Casita Blanco

We felt the host Bridget was very controlling, we were messaged and told that she "needed a chat" when we got back to the property, this was to be informed that it was unacceptable to move a small table into the bedroom to use as a dressing table as there were no facilities in the bedroom apart from a mirror on the wall, we were also told that throughout our stay we had to keep it tidy, there was no storage for anything and were were told off for putting our suitcases in the living room as there is nowhere to put them and it was suggested that we should n`t have brought so much luggage which we also feel this is not their business. We removed a loose shelf in the wardrobe as there were not enough room to allow your clothes to hang properly, this was placed back when we left. the host would have only known about this when she entered the property when we were out and was obviously snooping around the villa. Even though the property has air conditioning it is a maximum 2 hour timer which has to be turned back on when it switches off, this is a nightmare through the night as the bedroom gets very hot. There is a constant smell of weed being smoked from the owners property when you are sitting around the pool , especially under the shaded seating area, this starts in the morning and carries on throughout the day. There are lots of mosquitoes around the property so if you are prone to bites then this should be considered, You will need a car as the property is located miles from anywhere, shops and restaurants etc . We feel that when your hire a property you should be allowed to relax within that property and as long as nothing is damaged and everything is returned to where is was when you arrived it should not be an issue and you shouldn't be made to feel like a small child being told off and grounded. Bridget commented that she didn`t care about her reviews as she has her regulars, Don`t go here if you want to relax!!!
