Nobody informed us that you needed to request clean towels, bins, room tidy/clean each day...

Location

When we arrived to check in the man behind the desk asked if we could wait 5 minutes so he could put some notices up about a private function that night. We waited around 10 minutes before someone checked us in. As we walked up the corridor to our room the smell was awful.The room itself was pretty shabby and absolutely freezing. I went down to reception and asked for a heater, the girl behind the desk said she would bring one up which we never recieved. When we went down for breakfast the next morning I was served my breakfast on a saucer. The following morning was a buffet breakfast on till 11am and when we went down at 10.40am there was nothing left. You had to go to reception and ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. We were locked out of our room every day and had to go down to reception to get the card fixed. The hotel is extremely run down.

New year hospitality let down

Location is excellent

Unclean room.blocked sink.previous occupant had clothes left in room.showing it had not been cleaned.also statutory soap dispenser for a 3 star hotel empty room requiring major refurbishment this has not been done since management says it is in progress from July of 2023.see other reviews specifically toward un hoover carpet and major dust in room eg telephone lamps and headboard No hospitality available on arrival this seemed to affect many people had to go elsewhere for hospitality Reception attitude very blunt and unhelpful

We enjoyed our stay but it was difficult to sit at breakfast and watch the young girls holding the hot breakfast dishes

The Leisure facilities were good

They dont seem to take the health and safety of there staff very seriously

Will return after renovation.

Food was good. Staff are friendly and largely helpful.

Hotel needing some refurbishment. Ill fitting windows, Broken toilet seat, filthy carpet in room. Leaking rainwater from the bathroom skylight due to rotten frame No plug for the sink. To name but a few. Gluten free food not marked and even if any breakfast items were gluten free, the buffet style ensured the cross contamination of food stuffs via the serving tongues.

Dirty, dated and a health hazard . Also unwelcoming .

Big car park and location for where we were to get to.

Roof falling down inside and water pouring in.Trash on floor our whole vacation . One member of staff on Christmas morning very very rude to guests.fire alarms going off and key card had to be reset nearly every time we left our room .We seemed to be an inconvenience to staff .
