Superb

Great place to stay with period charm

The breakfast was delicious and worth it. We stayed in the Virginia room, which was the smallest and cheapest room, but it had more than enough room for both of us. The other rooms looked amazing though if you are willing to spend more. The rooms are so cozy and are decorated beautifully. The bathroom and the room were super clean also.

The only thing we had trouble with was the radiator heater in the room. It got a bit too hot and then a bit too cold when we had to turn on the air conditioner to cool off the room. Instructions on how to operate the heater would have been helpful.

Location

Air quality is poor. We each developed a headache which is a classic symptom of mold. Unable to cool the room leading to poor quality of sleep. The bedding had a heavy scent of fabric softener which triggered a migraine. Pealing paint around the bathroom window. We had no choice but to cut our stay short for health reasons. No refund was offered. Recommend avoiding this place.

We loved the area we were in. We always like to be able to walk out the door and be a tourist!!

Breakfast was exceptional.

Not didnt like, you need to work on tub/shower fixture.

One of the best places I've stayed in years!

I can't say enough about both the location and breakfast! Every meal was excellent, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! As far as location, I don't believe it could be any better! Within walking distance to everything downtown and very close to the battlefield. We will be returning!

More ghosts? Lol. Honestly, I can't think of anything I would have changed!
