Disappointing

Very nice food was well presented

We rated low because we were not advised that was a party booked. Also a disco which went on until late. Room did not have a window, but did have skylights. Sad thing is that sound reducing did not work hence a sleepless night. Sorry we will not be visiting again. Our first time ever we have been so disappointed.

Exceptional

Great little find !

Room was excellent. Bed very comfortable. Everything provided. Staff at pub/bar & also restaurant were all very friendly, happy & helpful people. Dinner was amazing, delicious & value for money. Breakfast was cooked to order & extremely good. No complaints at all.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

Great staff - friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable, good shower. Good breakfast,

Could have been a bit cleaner - rubbish left in a drawer, some mould around shower that could be sorted very quickly, some fittings loose.

Very poor

Lovely hotel and pub - food great. The whole stay was let down by other guests making noise all through the night and doors slamming. Stopped around 5am when I had about an hour left to sleep. Contact the hotel to give my comments and they didnt reply. Probably wouldnt choose this place to stay again because of the bad experience although without the shouting and noise it would have been a great stay.

Lovey place to stay just need to make people aware if there is to be a party.

Room was good. Food was lovely, staff were very friendly

We were not made aware that there would be a party that evening and we had to be up at 6.30 for work. Music was so loud and didnt turn off until 12am. Aweful sleep.

Very good

Welcoming and comfortable stopover.

Very friendly staff. Really good cooked breakfast. Spacious and comfortable bedroom.

Found shower faulty in the morning so no chance for it to be put right before we left. Just one of those unfortunate things.

Adequate but could have been better

No one to greet us at breakfast, just had to help ourselves and catch a passing kitchen person to ask for some toast, then had to ask for some plates.
