Good value for money, but lack

Nice clean hotel, exceptionally kind and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Extra bed was uncomfortable. Regular beds were very comfortable. When booking, under room facilities, coffee was listed, but there was no coffee maker in the room.

Superb

Ideal place for business people.

The location is walking distance from the Grosszschocher TRAM station. Rooms are nice, cosy with all things one would look for. The Breakfast spread and options were good. Most importantly the staff from Front desk to Food section were very very polite and helpful.

This evening we booked a last minute stay for tonight with an additional note of the expected arrival time. The last minute booking was because my boyfriend played a concert in Leipzig tonight and decided the drive in the snow would be dangerous. When we walked in we were not met with the usual warm welcome which we are accustomed too at many hotels, but were instead told that we could not check in by the hotel staff named Herr Haack. We directed the receptionist and told him our name. We were treated with rude customer service and disgust. We were then asked if we were from the Ukraine because we put UK on the form, the question in itself was not curious but rather shocking and he was trying to gauge why we would be in the hotel. We are both shocked with how we were treated and have never experienced such a check in before.

Leipzig hidden gem

Loved everything about the hotel and our stay. All started from a warm welcome to us and our dog at the reception (she got little doggie treat in a welcome pack). Our room was much bigger than I was expecting, immaculately clean and very comfortable. It even had a balcony. Restaurant and bar in the hotel are also great, beautifully decorated and all staff is more than accommodating and friendly. Another lovely bonus was that we were welcomed to bring our dog with us to have bite to eat and drink in the evening. Buffet breakfast next morning was the best we had on our journey with great options of traditional and healthy options to choose from and fabulous home made breads that we loved. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.
