Customer service rubbish, too expensive

Staff didn't solve any problems or issues, 2 single beds put together as an uncomfortable double. TV remote and TV signal poor. Staff un helpful and didn't speak good English

Superb

Good little convenient stay

Great value for money, lovely room, lovely bathroom, all clean. Staff excellent on arrival.

Mattress was a bit springy, might need updating. No remote for the TV bit not a big issue.

Poor

Ensuite bathroom stank of bad drains - had to keep the door shut all night. Front of house staff lacked urgency and were disorganised. It was a very odd check in - the first key they gave me did not work, then after allocating me to a new room, they knocked on the door before letting me in. It was as if they were not sure if the room was already inhabited. There is a discrepancy between photos on website and reality of the hotel - certainly not worth the fee I was charged, compared to other local offerings. It is a real shame as it looks as if the hotel had undergone an expensive renovation at some point, but upkeep to fabric of building is poor throughout. Also - the advertised house bar was shut by 9pm.

Very poor

Wouldn't stay again.

Convenient for where I needed to be. The gentleman was polite.

Dirty, no toiletries, dark uninviting rooms, cold. No WiFi, despite having password, nothing ever connected. Kettle disgusting, bed uncomfortable. Would never stay again. Only did stay as was convenient to where I needed to be, didn't know the area and wasn't feeling well and just wanted to to lie down. It was one night.

Location

Dirty, scruffy, tv didnt work, wardrobe broken. No shower curtain next to sign saying close shower curtain. Just the shower curtain rings.

I don't recommend staying here.

It was within walking distance of the work.

It was shabby and cold. The shower didn't work and the water was cold. The bed wasn't comfortable. No breakfast was offered. A more detailed review is on Tripadvisor.

Very good

Lovely place, would recommend

The room was very large and the bed was comfortable. The room way very clean and there was a heater and a fan in the room for comfort. Also appreciated the free parking. The staff were also very friendly.

My only complaint was the room way quite long and the TV was quite far away, but this wasn't a major issue at all.

Very good

Very nice room plenty of space and lovely and warm. Great food and lovely people.

Room was large separate toilet and large rainfall shower, all very clean lovely fluffy towels comfy bed and big tv. Dinner was amazing i had an indian meal very well presented and tasty10/10. the owners were having a birthday party for their 10 year old, very nice people very friendly and just all round nice.

TV remote needed new batteries but that really is nit picking. It was a nice place to stay.

Good

We had a really nice stay at Bennetts. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and well looked after. The service was really personalised and the lady who looked after us was fantastic. The rooms are a great size too.

It's a little dated . It needs a bit of a refresh
