Great New Year with family in a friendly and well positioned hotel .

Great location with plenty of parking . All staff lovely and friendly especially Lucie who really looked after us.Nothing was too much trouble for anyone which really enhanced our stay. Some areas are a little tired but renovations were already underway . Rooms were warm with comfy if slightly small double beds .

Best Hotel stay ever

The staff are amazing, the management team, the bar staff, kitchen staff and the cleaning staff are all great, they all make you feel like part of the family, and are always willing to help with anything. Breakfast was great. NYE was the most amazing night the chef did an amazing job with the 3 course menu.

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was amazing

Very good

The Bell provided everything I required for this stay.

breakfast very good, the room was value for money . The staff were very welcoming and very helpful.

In the price range , I can't think of any thing I could complain of.

The Location was perfect

The staff were very rude. They were talking down about other staff members whilst customers were within earshot. They put another member of staff down for communicating with the guests. Breakfast had to be sent back as the eggs were not cooked correctly, and the evening meal had to be returned. it seemed too much trouble for us to re-order they microwaved the meal. we booked this hotel as they advertised an open fire, and this was a present for my 83-year-old dad, who wanted an open fire, but the fire was not working. there were trailing wires around. there was a light fitting coming off the ceiling, and as I work for the fire service, this was a fire hazard.
