I have stayed at many hotels all over the world in a long life and this rates as one of the best.

Breakfast on both days was excellent, with lots of choice. Jilly's cheerful presence and helpful assistance kept things rolling and the waitress was quick , professional and kind. I have a blue parking badge . The Disabled parking area is some distance away , but I and another guest ( and Jilly) considered it was safe enough to park directly outside the hotel, which I did, displaying my badge. I could see my car from my bedroom window and there were no problems.

The stairs are quite steep and a bit of a challenge for people of my and my sister's age and walking ability, but Jilly's ready assistance with our luggage was much appreciated.

Comfortable, attractively furnished, beautiful gardens. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was perfectly cooked and served quickly although there was no pressure to finish

Jilly and Gary were lovely, gave us great local knowledge and we will be returning to Bedford Lodge.

The service was brilliant and myself and my 8 year old daughter felt like it was a home from home. The breakfast was perfect, room clean and tidy and great location.

Nothing it was the best b&b we have stayed at.

Bedford Lodge is centrally located, offers very comfortable accommodation set in a beautiful garden.

The room and shower room were very comfortable. The location was excellent - very close to the Chine, restaurants and beach. The breakfast was very good. The garden was delightful and the hosts very accommodating
