Reasonably priced central hotel with parking

Good hotel in a central location, massive room and plenty of parking. Really clean.

I arrived on probably the coldest day of the year to find the heating does not kick in until 4pm. There was an electric heater but this did little to warm the room.

Ok for a night

Convenient location and comfortable bed. Free parking. The host was helpful.

The room needed more lighting (the ceiling light did not work). The shower leaked a bit. More importantly I didn't feel 100% safe as woman staying alone. The host was not able to check me in (for completely understandable reasons and I am not complaining about that ) but I had to let myself in the front door with a code which was called out to me via the Ring doorbell after I missed the host's text (so anyone nearby could have heard the code). I appreciate the doorbell alerts the host if someone enters but it still made me feel a little uncomfortable. The lock on the bedroom door was quite flimsy.

Exceptional

Lovely property in ideal location

Absolutely beautiful property, with onsite parking, a short walk from city centre. The rooms are stunning, so clean and decorative, with comfortable beds and great facilties (cafetiere, sunken bath, plenty of storage and space). Would highly recommend.

There's nothing I didn't like about this property.

Beaufort Lodge - Taunton, Somerset TA1 4EQ Overview - owner Richard One of the most pleasant things about Beaufort Lodge is the engagement by Richard, the owner and manager of the guest house. Though the booking was made by booking g.com, Richard called me ahead of our stay and explained how everything worked and put or mind at rest answering any questions. Richard also kept me up to date via texts and though I never had a chance to meet Richard due a family bereavement, he kept in touch via text. central Taunton.

All very nice.
