Comfortable with great service

The location is great. Close to airport for easy transportation and set in a lovely bay. The beds were very comfortable. The staff in the adult only buffet restaurant were excellent as were the bar staff.

The adult only section has very tired rooms.. the royal family level would be so much better suited to an exclusive adult only section. Our air conditioning unit in the bedroom made terrible sounds every few minutes and disturbed our sleep. Maintenance came and had a fiddle but didnt fix it so we resorted to having bedroom unit off and lounge unit on for whole apartment. The pool area is not big enough for the amount of adult only rooms available and was full most days sometimes with no sun beds available.

Pool and grounds beautiful - although...

Loved the grounds, palm trees, pool, bar and outdoor dining area. Looks exactly like the pictures! Staff friendly. Good value for money. You might be lucky enough to get separate bungalow as advertised and not a room in a house.

Although the area of the adult only royal level was beautiful, outside of it wasn't. Gym and spa are very run down. Beach made of gravel with ugly toilet blocks. People selling knock off handbags right outside. Also the app didn't work a few times to order lunch at the pool. The dining hall felt a bit like a soul-less space - I ate all my meals outside - in the nice bit - although the back kitchen door was always open onto the terrace (strange placement) & could hear a lot of staff noise especially in the morning. My room wasn't a bungalow, rather a room in a 4 bed house with an adjoining door at the back of the resort next to the road. Lastly I didn't appreciate upon check in - the male receptionist commenting on my appearance!!!!! Said I looked very tired - thank you very much for your bad manners.

Great pre-Christmas holiday

Reception staff were excellent, polite and very helpful. Breakfast, bar, staff and pool at Terra Sana. All staff were good and the bar/restaurant staff were exceptional (Sara, Pablo, Jodie, Jade, Victoria, Oihu and the senior night bar man whose name we cant remember). The all inclusive range of drinks at the bar is the best weve ever seen. The Carte DOr and Magnum ice cream from the areas outside of Terra Sana. We liked the overall ambience and area at Terra Sana with the ability to access other services, bars and seating locations within the other hotels. Terra Sana buffet was small but decent quality. We also liked the larger buffet at Mafasca Restaurant and the buffet food at the Mexican restaurant (which could have been a little warmer). Rooms were kept clean and tidy and provided reasonable comfort and facilities including balcony, safe and clothes drying line. Overall Royal Level (Adults Only) resort area was kept very clean and tidy.

We kept discovering services we were entitled to use for our package, thanks to other guests. I think this should be clearly identified in the welcome pack. We didnt like being asked to pay 7 euro for cocktails at the themed restaurants given the large range of drinks available on our package. Terra Sana bar area could possibly have better protection from the evening wind that can appear at night and make you feel cold. This is a minor dislike though as covering arms sufficiently was always an option. Some of the meats at the Brazilian restaurant which seemed over cooked and of low quality. Taster menu at the Italian restaurant was average. The free WiFi service was consistently unreliable during the day which was frustrating. It seemed fine during the late evening and very early morning.

Perfect fly and flop location . It has a fabulous vibe the staff are wonderful and I cant wait to come back

4th visit in a year and booked for next March already . It ticks all the boxes for me in every way for a fly and flop holiday . The staff are excellent and the cocktails are first class !
