Amazing NYE at Barcelo Bay!

We had a great stay at Barcelo Bay. The staff were amazing and did everything to make our NY stay great. From the check in until the moment we left, we enjoyed every moment. We were lucky to get upgraded to a luxury room, which was amazing. The breakfast and dinner very good with lots of choice and freshly cooked food. The swimming pool area well appointed and maintained including one heated pool. We also used the spa facilities and were very happy. The NYE dinner and entertainment were great. Thank you to the entire team at Barcelo Bay!

Lovely relaxing hotel with excellent facilities.

Excellent food, very spacious room double sink bathroom lovely view of pool area. Great free art class given by lovely professional couple. excellent pilates classes and pool activites. Friendly professional hotel staff.

Tired looking rooms, need upgrading, very comfortable beds. Most staff are lovely.

Beds were very comfortable, towels and linen changed daily if needed. Maids were very helpful. Breakfast was really good. Pool area very nice but not open until 9am, early rises like to lay in early morning sun as early as they can but liked the sun bed control by the pool attendant.

Room was very tired, needed upgrading. We paid extra for a suite with hot tub but the extra space was not very big and the hot tub was a bath that took ages to fill, very small and not clean - horrible brown debris came out of jets when first used. Balcony was very thin so using sunbeds was not possible. Not happy having to pay for a safe. We had a big issue with the bar manager at lunch time and took it to customer service manager, who did not deal with our complaint in the manner it should have been dealt with, we were disgruntled over something that could have been resolved so easily, A full complaint will be sent to the Barcelo head office.

Fantastic holiday experience in a first class hotel

Excellent locality with easy access to beach shops and eating places Hotel was spacious and clean throughout. Rooms cleaned every day along with replacement towels Pools were first class Breakfasts were fantastic as was the spacious bright restaurant itself Staff at all levels were polite and helpful. In particular the Guest experience manager who helped to obtain an extension to my stay

Not really anything that I didnt like other than my stay was too short!

Very good hotel

Excellent room, clean and recently refurbished. Quiet. Adults only a great bonus. Good, fresh breakfast and good selection of food. Coffee was decent enough unlike most hotel coffee! Delighted to see signs all over the place that if you leave towels on the sun loungers to try to reserve them, they will be removed. The life guard was actively doing this and was getting abuse from a few guests.

Probably something that a few people love, but blaring 180bpm music at the pool (even for a couple of hours) for supposed 'pool exercise' is really annoying for anyone who just wants a quiet time and to sit and read. At least it isn't on all day though.

Overall would never stay here again, thank goodness we did not have all inclusive as that was a rip off

The pool was nice but if you left your bed for a drink or lunch they took your towels away. I do agree that you should not reserve a bed for hours but, i went for a cigarette and the life guard took the towels of the bed.

Very noisy, they have entertainment till 11 every night, so if you want an early night you cant get to sleep. It was like having a disco in your room. We got moved as far away as possible and could still here it
