Passable

Great location, basic amenities

Doesnt quite look like the photos, room had nothing but a bed that wasnt very comfy. Our room smelt and didnt feel very clean. We managed the few nights we booked but will not be staying again.

Exceptional

Location to the beach was awesome! Just a short 2 min walk out the back!

The common areas, including outside, closed at 10:30 for everyone, even if you were being quiet.

Really lovely location

Great location, the lady who checked us in (possibly the owner) was really helpful and friendly

The room we stayed in was so hot. Reallh would gave been so much better if all rooms had aircon as I literally could not sleep. Also, wifi was terrible

Disappointing

Confortable mattress

No air con, its very hot in the room and hard to sleep. Showers are too small. Staff not always friendly.

Good value for money

The location was really convenient, near everything going on in town whilst still being in a quiet area. The beach was right there as well. The curfew was well enforced so we could get to sleep and the staff were really helpful

The kitchen was not always clean and the rooms were hot without any aircon.

Well located but very run down

The hostel is well located. The property was only good value for money as we booked 4 months in advance. If you were making a last minute booking or paying normal rates it would be well over the odds.

Rooms are very run down and basic you also have to make your own bed. Showers didnt have any hot water. Kitchen was dirty and over crowded and communal areas smelt very sweaty. Very basic hostel for budget travelers.

The BPI is awesome! Staffs are very friendly and my room and beds are very tidy and clean. The property is in very nice position of the town, and very easy to go everywhere!

Factory, churning out backpackers

Close to the beach, good showers.

So many signs and rules which all say you'll get kicked out for the smallest reasons. Couldn't even borrow a pack of playing cards without exchanging our drivers licence, because sure, a $90 trade for playing cards is worth it....

Disappointing

Easy access to beach but has a cockroach in my room.

I like the extremely easy access to the beach (you can hear the waves). The four-bed room had lots of space. There was a ceiling fan. The 10-10:30pm quiet period was adhered to by other guests.

There was a cockroach on my bedsheet when I woke up at around 5:10am which was extremely unpleasant. No air conditioning and lockers were too small to place all contents for a backpacker. The $10 deposit for the key had a 50 cent surcharge which is equivalent to 5% I am unsure of anywhere else that would experience that level of additional cost to undertake a card transaction.

Disappointing

It was just next to the beach and close of amenities.

The bathrooms needs a good remodel, there are too old, dirty, leaks of water everywhere. Carpet in the room full of stains, door key of room hard to open. The hostel needs a bit of work all around.
