Lovely stay, cannot complain about the house.

Really great location, easy to walk into the town centre. Clean home, kitchen was well stocked and easy to figure out the doors/locks. warm cosy beds and hot water service was reliable.

Lovely cottage, all you need for one to five days

I called Vanessa on arrival (arrived early) and was able to check in. Vanessa talked me through the lock box situation as one of the box key numbers was playing up. Loved the open kitchen lounge area. Everything was very clean and tidy. Mum enjoyed the recliner couch! Kitchen was well equipped and milk available in the fridge. Bedrooms very neat with ample storage. Beds and pillows super comfy plus electric blanket for those cold winter nights. Nice touch with towels presented with fresh camellias and chocolates! Only there for one night, but could have happily stayed longer. Clean bathroom, with lovely liquid soap. Great hot water! Close to main street and shops.

Would have loved wifi access, but no internet. Perhaps add a vanity set/shower cap in bathroom.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Aveley and can't thank Vanessa enough

Aveley cottage was an easy 10 min stroll to main town centre ,VERY clean and comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the verandah in the evening and the tree out the front provides plenty of privacy both for guests and neighbours. places of interest in Daylesford & surrounds info provided and the Vanessa was very prompt to reply to any questions & or provide info related to our stay. Highly recommend Aveley to all.

We knew there was no wifi but if that was available it would make things a little easier, I guess these days people expect there to be. My only suggestion would be to include a key to the security doors so that the main doors could be left open to take advantage of the lovely breeze and also added security as my party was just female friends getting away for a weekend .

Cosy house in a great location

The location was great only a few minutes drive from the main St in daylesford. There was a nice selection of tea and coffee. The place was clean and tidy.

The house whilst cosy is a little old. The shower screen door was a little loose. It would have been nice if there was shampoo too.
