    Excellent clean and comfortable stay for money value
    The hotel is new and exceptionally clean. The breakfast is very good and diversified. The staff are very friendly and welcoming makes you feel at home. Although the metro station is at half an hour walking distance however all public buses numbers reach the station. The hotel is two stations from the center of Athens however far from the crowded market zone . Very nice restaurants and min markets within two minutes walking distance.

    If you mind noise, go for a room with back view
    The hotel staff were nice, the room was very clean as de large and the bed oversized and very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is modern and situated close enough to Pireas for a very late ferry arrival (which was my motivation for the overnight) and far enough to be... outside Pireas.
    I couldn't sleep all night because of how noisy that main street was. Neither the double or triple glaze nor ear plugs helped. It felt like all the vehicles with tuned up engines decided to race up and down that boulevard. If you mind noise, forget the "room with Acropolis view", it's with Acropolis but without sleep. And since a sleepover was the purpose on my stay in the hotel, I unfortunately didn't get what I needed.

    Great hotel in Athens with a nice view!
    The location of Athenaeum Smart Hotel is great - 20min walk to Acropolis Museum, 10min with bus (bus station is in front of the hotel) The staff were professional and helpful, it made for a very pleasant stay, provided parking, late check out upon request. The room was very modern, clean and comfortable with a lovely view of Acropolis. The rooftop restaurant for breakfast had a very nice view of Athens and Acropolis.

    The breakfast was the only thing good about this place. Bell boy was very polite and helpful.
    The hotel is supposed to be a year old but looks more like 10. Room was not big enough, for 3 travellers. We booked a room that was supposed to have a king bed and a pull out couch. Instead we got a king sized bed and a poof, that was stuck to the bed with hardly any room to pass. When I spoke to reception, she looked like a deer in headlights. Said that was the room we booked with a view of the Acropolis. We told her that a view with no where to sleep was not normal. Asked to change rooms and she said she had none. We had to change rooms with another couple that was travelling with us. They were 2 and had a bigge room than ours. Ridiculous, too experfir what they offer. The room was horrible, ceiling looked like it was gonna fall, floor was falling apart, there was a hole in the ceiling of the washroom where there was supposed to be a light and poof was soo uncomfortable, this was the worst stay of my life.
