It was great to stay but dont know if Id stay again unless the sofas were cleaned properly.

Weve stayed here before and its everything you need, well equipped kitchen, good location,nice and quiet and was decorated for Christmas.

We had to cover both sofas as they were covered in dog hairs and as much as I like dogs I didnt want my clothes covered in hairs, the hot tub cover was so hard to take off as it had dipped into the water which made it heavy to lift.

A relaxing and tranquil stay in the East Yorkshire countryside

Clearly well looked after by its owners It felt warm and cosy The hot tub was a premium one, not a basic style

Some decor felt very personal but wasnt an issue

Doesnt really marry with my idea of luxury

The setting is beautiful. Our quality of fittings in our second lodge was much better than in Ashworth. The kitchen was was well equipped however there was only one sharp knife and that was a bread knife

We didnt stay in Ashworth Lodge as there was a fault with the boiler and no hot water. When I asked to be moved that was organised but it wasnt offered. The beds were terriblethe mattress required a pillow under it to fill the hole.

Very good

Great 2 day break in a lovely lodge.

The lodge was very clean and well presented. The onsite restaurant was very good for casual dining. Good location, York, Wetherby, Bridlington and Hull, all within easy reach ( > 1 hour )

The parasol on the deck was badly corroded and leaning at a dangerous angle. We had to secure it with a bungee cord. It should be replaced immediately.

Fabulous Lodge and Hot tub

The Lodge and Hot tub were amazing, we had a fantastic time and so did our dog. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience

Didnt like Late check in and early check out. With check in being 4pm your day is nearly over. 11am departure would be better. Mattress on double bed a little uncomfortable
