A lovely apartment in a superb location.

The apartment was lovely and large enough for 2 people. The location is exquisite.

The check in process (required to get the key code) was onerous.....and the description of the property neglected to mention that the apartment is 80 steps above ground floor. Not a problem for us, but may be for others. Finally, more generous cleaning supplies would have been welcome (1 dishwasher tablet and 1 roll of toilet paper is insufficient for 2 people for a 3-night stay.

Well appointed flat in ideal location for exploring Aix

Great location in the heart of the Cours Mirabeau Close to all the sights and walking distance from the railway station. Beautiful flat at the top of an old building. All mod cons provided.

The coffee machine seemed to clog up and not provide much output!

great location. beautiful inside , well presented and very clean

was at the top of the building and only accessible by the staircase. equivalent to 4 stories. we are travelling for 6 weeks so have bags that weight 12 -15 kg and I have arthritis. it was hard to move our luggage. This would be great if its clearer when booking. despite this it was a lovely apartment. The process to get access is a bit convoluted. Once you have booked , and the booking confirmed you only then are advised the owner want to do a security check and you have to send a deposit and photo ID for an external company to complete the security verification. it would be good to know this well in advance as we like to know who has our personal information and how they ensure it is only used for this purpose and protected. we were also instructed that we would have to take out our rubbish at the end of the stay, back down all those stairs along with our bags, and place it in the allocated bins. This is something that paying guests do not usually have to do. owner may want to consider that the guest already has to do a bit to get access to the property so taking out the rubbish and putting all used linens ( towels and strip the bed) into the shower might be for the cleaner ??

We had a lovely stay and Melanie went out of her way to allow us an early check in.

Excellent location. Beautifull bathroom. Washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher is a bonus. Air conditioning is lovely.

No elevator in the building and the apartment is on the top floor, which is a bit of a schlep when you have to carry heavy luggage upstairs.

A wonderful experience in the historic centre of Aix

Lovely stylish spacious apartment in historic building. Well-equipped kitchen, 2 toilets, air condtioning, pleasant quiet situation at the back of the building

It is important to be aware that there is no lift and the apartment is on the 3rd (top) floor,. Ease of access up a beautuful internal staircase depends on your fitness and amount of luggage.

An very good place to stay to enjoy the town of Aix en Provence.

Excellent location and very clean, well equipped apartment. Very quiet despite the location making it excellent for sleeping.

The climb to the third floor was certainly challenging and would prove difficult for some people. The sloping, low ceilings made moving around difficult in some rooms. The coffee machine provided required special pods and it would have been good to have been provided with some to show us what was required.As it was we did not use the machine. Only one towel and no hand towel per person and rather rough bedding.

hectic stairs in a great location

the location is wonderful, on cours mirabeau the bed is comfy good amenities

no lift, with three steep flights of stairs, if you have heavy bags, not a great idea the ceilings are low, I knocked my head a few times on the ceiling beams not enough toilet paper provided checkout requires taking your trash out the building without very clear instructions. also the check out instructions state stripping all laundry.

Great location! comfy bed and everything was clean.

bit of a cumbersome checkin process- you have to set up an account with a different website and communicate credit card details. Would have appreciated a few coffee pads for the machine provided for the first morning
