Amara Family Resort

Thank you to the hotel for a great stay! We were away for 2 weeks and were very pleased with the varied and delicious food. The rooms are not large, but cozy, cleaning, mini bar replenishment every day! On the territory there is ping pong, darts 2 times a day, tennis for free, volleyball and boccia on the beach. We did not attend the evening program, since the child is still small. Spa, hammam, water park, everything you need for relaxation! We did not swim in the pool, since the water was cold, but the sea was excellent and there were sun loungers, towels, ice cream, drinks on the beach ,pizza and snacks, music!

We got a room in the main building and it met all our expectations. The hotel is wonderful, the staff is excellent and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean. There are 3 excellent pools, including slides and a children's pool. There is food throughout the day, everything is very tasty, everything is plentiful and generous. In addition, throughout the day there are refrigerators with ice creams, bottles of juice and ayran- definitely a refreshing bonus. The cakes and desserts are of a high standard, both in the restaurant and in the patisserie. Every evening we enjoyed a show or live music. In the morning, the entertainment team performed yoga, water sports and competitive games. The staff at the hotel are very kind (waiters, cleaners, reception..) and our every request was answered with a smile. Special thanks to Seda from customer relations. For example - when my husband was a bit sick, they rushed to help him with blankets and food. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the sea and the river, and also close to the city and shopping centers. There is also public transportation at the hotel entrance. From the hotel itself there is access to a large outlet with many shops along the boulevard. We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back there.

However, their beach is very narrow and all their guests very closely swim next to each other in the sea. Their facilities are old and the water in the pools is very cold, all the children were shivering around the pools despite +35C (all children still were having fun). Breakfast and dinners had a variety of dishes and food, but it was unorganised. If you do not come very early, it is problematic to find a place to have your meal or if you come at the end there isn't everything available. I believe the hotel was full of guests but then they should have increased mealtime, so the visitors wouldn't be in a rush like in a school canteen. On the last day, my husband was very unwell because of food poisoning and he went to a local pharmacy behind the hotel to get some medication for diarrhoea and indigestion. The chemist said that he could not sell him and suggested an appointment for 160 with a local doctor. After we left Side we went to Belek and on the way we popped into another pharmacy and got all the medication he needed, next day he was okay.
