Despite enjoying the amazing room and view, some guests found the layout of the hotel confusing, with multiple elevators required to navigate. They also had a mixed experience with staff communicatio (Read More)n, as they were not informed about the checkout time and received conflicting information. On the positive side, guests loved the rooftop bar and its phenomenal view. However, one guest had their "do not disturb" sign ignored by housekeeping. The fast elevator was also a source of discomfort for some.

Location & views
King suite room booked wasnt what we received. Gentlemen checking us in told us our room was in a block of rooms reserved. Manager William came out & told us there was maintenance issues with our room and it was taken out of rotation and he was UPGRADING us. OK, great!! Then after talking more with the manager we realized we were being DOWN GRADED!!! After confronting manager he then says well we are upgrading you from a regular King room well thats not an upgrade from the KING SUITE that I reserved for a special surprise wknd. We were given money off of the room per night but it didnt change the fact we were now staying in a Cracker Jack box room! Check your billsPaid extra for breakfast then was charged for it. Dim lighting in rooms makes it hard for women to get ready, still had hair all over sink & bathroom floors. Area rug looked dirty. Not impressed! Wont stay at AC again.

Overwhelmingly disappointing.
-Very unfriendly staff at check in. Instead of taking care of us, they were simply having a nice time with themselves. -Staff provided confusing and conflicting information on how to get to 8th floor where there were supposedly more food options. -Bathroom is a wired box that demarcates toilet/shower. -No hot water running through the faucet sink for the entire time I was there. - Shower gel container was empty upon arrival, thankfully I travel prepared for that. Otherwise, Id be stuck in a shower with an empty soap container. -The corner room that promised city views was total garbage. That corner has nothing more than highway views and two neighboring towers. - Overall, for this $400-600 price point, AC was probably the most disappointing experience of our LA vacation.

Its close to the staple center and the different variety of food and the views
Our room wasnt ready at check in but they gave us a similar room and compensated us for not have our room ready which was awesome.
