Would not come back

Not up to the Taj standard based on other properties we have stayed at. Rooms small and tired, property was OK.

Rooms so old and tired, no attention to detail with amenities. Expected to have to share a table with another family for breakfast not at all the experience we have had before with the Taj. No turn down service, only one hand towel to share between 2, etc.

Terrible stay. Highly recommend not to stay at this property especially given they charge exorbitant rates

The location and view is fantastic

Lots not to like 1. The hotel is old and rooms are in very poor condition. 2. My friend was given a room that was stinking of damp smell. On complaining they changed the room and that room had cockroaches. When we complained to the Duty Manger all he did was say a sorry and walked off 3. We pre paid for the rooms on the payment link shared by the hotel. During check out information was not in system and I had to spend over 15 mins digging out the email and explaining the rooms were paid for. 4. Coffee shop service is pathetic

Size of the bedroom, cleanliness and quality of room, bed and bathroom was 5* Number of quality restaurant choices. Meneha in the Japanese restaurant deserves a special mention

Pool area was tired and needing upgraded.

Excellent stay.

Our stay at Taj was wonderful. The room was very specious and clean. Food itself was excellent and had a vast variety. A special thank you goes to the staff (Dilhara, Uddika, Dileka, Usha, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Malaka and Mr. Nilanka) at "Port's of Call" restaurant. The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating to our needs. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and would definitely come back for a stay. Thank you.....
