Fantastic host, highly recommended!!

Derek is a fantastic host, wish everyone would be so polite, friendly, attentive and informative. He takes care about every possible detail! Room was spacious, clean, well equipped, on road parking easily accessible, breakfast fresh and tasty - absolutely top notch across the board!! Should we ever need a B&B in Cardiff again, we go straight to Derek! About 2 minutes away you can jump on bus 57, which will take you to Cardiff centre in about half hour for 2.20 Buses don't seem to care much about their timetable, but I guess it's the whole UK issue, not just Cardiff. You should approach this as the fact that you drive on the 'wrong' side of the road, separate taps for hot and cold water, living an hour behind majority of Europe and bunch of other typical British 'attractions' It was great to experience royalistic, traditional British atmosphere, house decorations create unique climate - worth every penny we paid, 10/10! Thank you Derek!!

Derek our host was very welcoming with a cup of coffee/tea/biscuits on arrival.

Location excellent just out of Cardiff. A bus stop into the city approx 60 metres from the accommodation.was a real bonus.

May be fine if you just need a bed to sleep on, but definitely don't come here for a holiday with your partner.

If you need just a cheap comfortable and quiet place to sleep this will do it.

I felt like being in the 70s at my grandpa's place and that's not in a good way. The place feels very small and intimate which you have to share with host who sleeps door next to you. Walls are very thin so you can hear every move or the tv he watches downstairs . He was very welcoming but it felt awkward. Breakfast was small, nothing exceptional, i had to eat again right after it. The place wasnt dirty but not super clean either. There was some dust here and there and a gum sticked to the clock:o

Really nice 1 night stay 10/10

Breakfast excellent. Weather good and could sit in pretty garden. Derek a really attentive host. Lots of places to park. In fact all good. Suited us as did not need to be any nearer to city. Would use again.
