Rent a self-drive car from Bangalore. Stop at Sree Renukambha Bidadi Thatte idli for breakfast for yummy soft idlis. It is quite basic so skip it if you are looking for hygiene, bathroom etc. For lunch, stop at Vinayaka Mylari in Mysore. Again a basic place but great dosas.
