# Itinerary:

- 6:00am hotel pick up from Kandy
- 9:00am arrive at Sigiriya
- Walk from the Sigiriya main entrance to the rock to pass by water gardens, including curved tanks, bathing pools, little islands with pavilions and more
- If you should opt to climb, begin your 1,200 steps up to the top of the rock itself. View the incredible gallery of female figures in the halfway mark
- 12:00pm make your way back down
- 12:30pm proceed to Polonnaruwa and break for traditional lunch with villagers
- 2:00pm post lunch, witness archaeological treasures that give an idea of how the city looked in the past, visit ruins and temples
- 3:00pm make your way back towards Kandy
- 6:00pm approx. drop off at your respective hotel

# Additional Information:
- Child ticket: Age 4-11
- Children aged 0-3 can join the tour for free provided they do not occupy an additional seat
- Comfortable walking shoes, light and comfortable clothing, sunglasses/sunscreen are highly recommended
- The climb up the steps is not required and is an optional activity in the tour
- This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, guests with heart problems or other serious medical conditions and those with walking disabilities or guests who will need use of a wheelchair
- A good amount of walking and climbing is required for the tour
