- Child ticket: Age 4-16
- Children aged 0-3 (not occupying a seat) are free of charge
- Children aged 0-16 must be supervised by an accompanying adult. Puffing Billy Railway reserves the right to request proof of age
- As the ticket is very popular in peak season, please select your second preferred timeslot upon check out. The operator will book your second preferred timeslot automatically if your first choice is fully booked. Please check your voucher for the exact timeslot
- We strongly advise that you arrive at the Booking Office at least 45 minutes prior to your train departure time
- All return tickets booked online are for an open return, which means that when returning back to Belgrave or Lakeside, you have the option of traveling on any of our timetabled trains on the same day
- No toilets are available aboard Puffing Billy's carriages, however, toilets can be found at each main station
- Smoking is not permitted on the train, platforms, or under any roofed areas
- Alcohol is not permitted on trains (except the ones provided on dining cars)
- Passengers are not allowed to sit on the carriage sides
- Photographs and videos for personal use are permitted. Wedding photography and any use, re-use, or reproduction for commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent
