This tour will cover the two most unique and elegant architecture of Thailand first is Suan Pakkad Palace which is a former royal residence with eight traditional teakwood houses and a beautiful garden. Collection of Ban Chiang artifacts, poetry, tools, rare heritage and glass ornaments are the main highlight of this palace.
The second highlight of the day is Jim Thompson's house and museum, where you will find Jim Thompson's personal collection of fine arts and antiques, he is also known as the father of Thai silk. The abundance of rare old artifacts, art pieces, and delicate interior details represent his talent to 'bend' tradition in a creative way and very unique. This tour operates only on Tuesday and Thursday.
8:30 am: Pick up from the hotel or prearranged location.
9:00 am: Visit Jim Thompson's Thai House.
11:00 am: Visit Suan Pakkad Palace.
11:30 am: Return for hotel drop off.
