## Day 3 Thimphu - Wangdue - Punkha Valley

- Drive to Wangdue and Punakha Valleys - 2.5 hours
- Dochula Pass
- 108 chortens/stupa
- Royal Botanical Garden - 45 minutes hike
- Chime Lhakhang (Fertility Temple)
- Stroll through the valley

## Day 4 Wangdue and Punakha Valleys - Thimphu and Paro

- Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten - 2 hours hike
- Punakha Dzong
- Longest iron bridge in Bhutan
- 2 hours drive to Gangtey
- Gangtey Nature Hike - 2 hours hike
- Excursion of Gangtey, Phobijika and neighbouring villages

## Day 5 Gangtey - Trongsa - Bumthang Valley

- Gangtey Monastery
- Crane Observation Centre
- Drive to Trongsa - 4 hours
- Pelela Pass
- Chendebjee, Rukubjee and Trangsibjee Villages

- Trongsa Viewpoint

- Drive from Trongsa to Chumey - 1.5 hours

## Day 6 Bumthang Valley Excursion

- Hike from Jambay Lhakhang to Kurjey Lhakhang to Tamshing Lhakhang
- Iron Castle
- Jakar Dzong (Fortress of the White Bird)
- Kenchosum Lhakhang
- Swiss farmhouse/brewery
- Stroll thorugh town

## Day 7 Bumthang to Paro

- Take domestic flight from Bumthang to Paro (book separately)
- Depart Bumthang at 12:20pm (subject to changes)
- Arrive Paro at 12:55pm
- Drive to Chelala Pass
- Hike around the pass and view the Himalayan Mountains
- Drive to Paro Valley - 2 hours
- Visit traditional farmhouse
- Traditional hot stone bath
- Traditional Bhutanese dinner

## Day 8 Tiger's Nest

- 3 hour hike up to Tiger's Nest
- 2 hour hike down
- Ponies available for rent - payable onsite to pony owners (about USD15 halfway uphill)
- Kyichu Lhakhang
- Visit local handicraft shops
## Day 9 End of Tour

- Have breakfast at hotel
- Check out and depart for airport
