# Itinerary:

## 5D4N Itinerary:

## Day 1:

- 6:00am the trekkers will be picked up from Haridwar Bus/Railway Station from where the journey will begin. Haridwar is well connected with Delhi through railway and road route. Overnight buses and trains are available
- 12:00pm 256km road ride to Joshimath from Haridwar, crossing the cities of Rishikesh, Devprayag, and Rudraprayag. Breakfast and lunch during the travel will take place at the roadside inns and will be paid for by the participant
- 2:00pm arrival at Joshimath. Accommodations will be in a guest house/hotel
- 8:00pm dinner and rest at the guesthouse/hotel followed by a quick introduction and briefing session with the trek leader and fellow travelers


## Day 2:

- 7:00am 12km drive to Dhak Village from Joshimath after breakfast. The trek will begin from Dhak village
- 9:00am trail from Dhak is of gradual ascension and is comprised of dusty and rocky patches
- 2:00pm lunch and refreshments will be served midway between Tugasi Village and Guling Campsite
- 6:00pm arrival at the campsite with evening refreshments
- 8:00pm dinner and rest in the camps


## Day 3:

- 7:00am early morning 6km trek to Khulara after breakfast
- 8:00pm trek to Khulara from Guling is of moderate difficulty
- 2:00pm arrival at the campsite, approximately at the late lunch hours. Rest at the campsite
- 5:00pm acclimatize yourself to the surroundings through a walk in the evening to prepare for the summit climb
- 9:00pm evening refreshments and dinner at the campsite

## Day 4:

- 6:00am early morning ascent to Kuari Pass after breakfast.
- Steep and moderate climb followed by 5km of level walking. In this phase, you must remember to carry at least 1-2 liters of water per participant as the trail has no water sources
- 2:00pm arrival at the pass. Packed lunch will be served at the viewpoint
- 3:00pm descend back to Guling campsite via Khulara
- 5:00pm arrival at the Guling campsite in the late evening hours for evening snacks
- 9:00pm dinner and rest in the camps


## Day 5:

- 7:00am travel to from Guling to Dhak Village after breakfast
- 9:00am 12km drive from Dhak Village to Joshimath
- 2:00pm lunch at Joshimath, followed by a 256km drive to Haridwar
- 5:00pm evening refreshments will be at the roadside inns
- 10:30pm expected arrival time at Haridwar

- Level of difficulty of the trek: Moderate
- As this is a high altitude trek, this trek is suitable only for climbers with good physical condition and stamina
- Persons suffering from asthma, high blood pressure, and heart problems cannot participate in this trek
- This is a sample itinerary, which may change depending upon weather conditions
- In case of any natural calamities, the company will refund the trek charges
- No dietary restrictions may be accommodated in this activity
- Participants are expected to carry their own rucksacks. In case participants want them to be carried, pack mules are available at a charge of INR300/day
