- You will have to arrange your own accommodation in Pokhara and transportation back to Kathmandu

## Day 1 Nayapul - Ulleri

- Pick up from hotel in Pokhara
- 90 minute drive to Nayapul
- Begin 6 hour trek to Ulleri, passing through sub tropical valley forests
- Cross the Modi Khola river via a suspension bridge and continue on to Tikhedhunga village
- Climb up 3,300 steps to Ulleri
- Overnight in Ulleri (2,050m)

## Day 2 Ulleri - Ghorepani

- 4-5 hour trek
- Begin the ascent to Ghorepani village, an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker's stop
- Admire the panoramic views of surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri
- Overnight in Ghorepani (2,750m)

## Day 3 Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Ghandruk

- 6-7 hour trek
- Get an early start to Poon Hill (3,210m) via a steep trail
- Catch the sunrise over the Himalayas and enjoy wonderful views of the Mustang and Pokhara valleys
- Return back to Ghorepani
- Continue your descent to the village of Ghandruk, a sloping settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by Gurung people
- Admire the stunning views of Fishtail, Annapurna South and Hiuchuli mountains
- Get acquainted with the rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk
- Overnight in Ghandruk (2,700m)

## Day 4 Ghandruk - Pokhara

- Begin the 4 hour trek downhill to Birethanti, curving in and out of villages and farm terraces
- From Birethanti, continue walking to Nayapul where the trek comes to an end
- 90 minute drive from Nayapul to Pokhara
- Drop off at hotel or any other desired location within Pokhara

## General

- Level of difficulty: easy to medium
- This trek can be enjoyed any time of the year. However, the recommended hiking season is between Mar-May and Sep-Nov where the weather is warm and skies are clear
- Both English speaking and Chinese speaking guides are available. There will be an additional USD100 surcharge per trip for Chinese speaking guides. Please indicate during check out
- Your safety is of paramount concern throughout the trek. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the itinerary as stated; however, weather conditions, health conditions of a group member and any unexpected natural disasters can contribute to changes in the itinerary. In case of natural calamities i.e. political unrest, cancelation of flight due to weather, landslides, etc. any extra charges incurred due to it will shouldered by the traveler
- Though not mandatory, travel and accident insurance is highly recommended

## Meals

- Breakfast and dinner will be served at the teahouse while lunch will be served at one of the restaurants along the trek
- Breakfast is included in both half board and full board options and typically consist of noodles, porridge, bread and eggs
- If you have chosen the half board option, you will have the flexibility of choosing your own lunch and dinner that will suit your taste and budget. Alternatively, you may pack your own food (e.g. cup noodles)
- If you have chosen the full board option, meals provided are typically dahl curry and vegetables
- Boiled water is provided at teahouses. Soft drinks, snacks and beer are available at the teahouse and restaurants at additional cost
- If you have any dietary requirements, please indicate them during check out

## Accommodation

- You will stay in teahouse lodges throughout the trek
- Private rooms are available at lower altitudes. At higher altitudes, the rooms are dormitory style
- Toilets are shared, blankets are provided and running water is available
- Majority of teahouses have cold showers, some provide hot water at additional cost
- Some teahouses have electricity where you can charge your appliances (mobile phones and cameras) at an additional cost

## What to Bring

- Pack lightly; the porter can carry up to a maximum of 25kg (shared between two trekkers). The porter will carry your belongings in a duffel. Please pack your belongings in a plastic bag or lightweight cotton bag
