# Itinerary:

## Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
- Meet the guide at the Kathmandu airport
- Drop off at hotel
- Check in at hotel
- Enjoy courtesy Nepalese dinner and cultural show at night
- Overnight in Kathmandu

## Day 2: Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley

- Pick up from hotel in Kathmandu
- Visit major UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu city
- Explore the Durbar Squares, Hindu shrines, Buddhist stupas and the Swayambhunath Temple
- Visit the Monkey Temple, a Buddhist temple located on a small hill
- Enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu city
- Or, visit the Pashupatinath temple, one of the most well-known Hindu temples
- Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu

## Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2,840 meters) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 meters)

- Board mountain flight to Lukla from Kathmandu
- Reach Lukla
- Trek to Phakding through the side of Dudh Koshi River with the beautiful Kusum Khangkaru (6367m)
- Trail to the Cheplung Village
- Visit the village of Phakding
- Overnight stay at Phakding

## Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 meters)

- 5-hour trek (distance 6.2km, approximately 8,500 steps)
- Trek alongside Dudh Koshi River towards the town of Namche Bazaar
- Pass on the way to Monjo, which is the entry point of Sagarmatha National Park
- Reach Namche Bazaar
- Overnight stay at Namche

## Day 5: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day

- Explore the architecture of Namche
- Visit the Syangboche Airstrip or the Everest View Hotel–the highest-located hotel in the world or Sherpa Culture Museum and the Everest Photo Gallery
- Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar

## Day 6: Trek to Tengboche (3,860 meters)

- 5-6 hour trek
- Trek along the side of Dudh Koshi River
- Reach Phunke Tenga
- Head towards Tengboche
- Visit the famous and largest Tengboche Monastery
- Overnight stay at Tengboche

## Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (4,410 meters)

- 5-6 hour trek
- From Tengboche, cross the suspension bridge over the Imja River
- Reach Dingboche
- Visit and witness majestic views of Island Peak (6,189m) and Ama Dablam (6,856m)
- Overnight stay at Dingboche

## Day 8: Trek to Nangkar Tshang Peak (5,616 meters)

- Acclimatization Day
- 4-hour trek
- Hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,616m)
- See magnificent views of Ama Dablam (6,856m), Mount Makalu (8,463m), Lhotse (8,414m), Cho Oyu (8,188m), Mount Everest (8,848m) and more
- Return back to Dingboche
- Overnight at Dingboche

## Day 9: Trek to Lobuche (4,910 meters)

- 5-hour trek
- Trail towards Dusa village and reach Thokla Pass (4,830m)
- Walk along the lateral moraine of Khumbu Glacier to reach Lobuche
- Overnight stay at Lobuche

## Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364 meters) – Gorakshep (5,140 meters)

- 8-hour trek
- Trek alongside the Khumbu Glacier towards Gorakshep, a small, sparsely occupied settlement
- Reach the Everest Base Camp
- Witness great sights of the Khumbu Icefall along with the close view of Mt. Everest (8,848m) and other peaks
- Return to Gorakshep
- Overnight stay to Gorakshep

## Day 11: Trek to Kala Patthar (5,550 meters) and Descend to Pheriche (4,240 meters)

- 7-hour trek
- Visit to major highlight of the Everest Base Camp Trek
- Trek to hike to Kala Patthar
- Spend time at Kala Patthar
- Back to Pheriche via Lobuche
- Overnight at Pheriche

## Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 meters)

- 7-hour trek
- Trail along the Imja River all the way to Tengboche to Namche
- Overnight stay at Namche

## Day 13: Trek to Lukla (2,840 meters)

- 6-hour trek
- Trek from Namche to Lukla
- Cross suspension bridges (you will be accompanied by occasional Chortens, prayer flags, Mani walls, and small Gompas lining)
- Reach Lukla and explore the village and enjoy a warm local dinner
- Overnight stay at Lukla

## Day 14: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

- Take the morning flight back to Kathmandu
- Shop or explore the city on your own
- Enjoy a special farewell dinner
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu

## Day 15: Departure

- Drop off at Tribhuvan International Airport
- Tour ends

- **This tour is for participants aged 15+ only**
- This trek is of medium difficulty and a good level of fitness is required
- Your safety is of the highest priority throughout the trek. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to follow the itinerary as stated; however, weather conditions, health conditions of a group member and any unexpected natural disasters can contribute to changes in the itinerary. In case of natural calamities (i.e. cancelation of flight due to weather, landslides, etc.), any extra charges incurred will be shouldered by you
- Though not mandatory, travel and accident insurance is highly recommended
- **The operator will coordinate further with you to reconfirm the details of the itinerary, pick up time, etc.**
- The activity may be canceled in cases of bad weather. You will be given the option of booking an alternative date or requesting a full refund

## Meals
- Breakfast and dinner will be served at the lodges while lunch will be served at one of the restaurants along the trek
- Breakfast is included in both half board and full board option and typically consists of noodles, porridge, bread and eggs
- Boiled water is provided at lodges. Soft drinks, snacks and beer are available at the lodges and restaurants at an additional cost
- If you have any dietary requirements, please indicate during check out

## Accommodation
- You will stay in lodges throughout the trek and 3 star hotels in Kathmandu
- Private rooms are available at lower altitudes. At higher altitudes, the rooms are dormitory style
- Toilets are shared, blankets are provided and running water is available
- Majority of lodges have cold showers. Some provide hot water at an additional cost
- Some lodges have electricity where you can charge your appliances (mobile phones and cameras) at an additional cost
