## Day 1 Drukgyel Dzong – Sharna Zampa

## Day 2 Sharna Zampa- Soe- Thangthangkha
- Walking distance: 22km, 7-8 hours

- Trail continues through the river valley
- Visit the Jigme Dorji National Park
- Camp at the meadow with great views of
Mount Jomolhari
## Day 3 Thangthangkha – Jangothang
- Walking distance: 19km, 5-6 hours
- Camp altitude: 4,080m
- The trek continues up the Paro Chhu river valley
- Cross an army outpost
- Passing the l villages Soe, Takethang and Dangochang
- Reaching Jangothang, one of the most beautiful campsites of the Himalayas,
## Day 4 Acclimatization
- Walking distance: 0.00
- Camp altitude: 4,080m
- Day hikes with views of Jomolhari and Jichu Drake
- Trek up to Tosoh or hike around the area
- Walk towards the glaciers of Jhomolhari or visit and experience a high altitude village life nearby
- Rest well for a tough climb the next day
## Day 5 Jangothang – Lingshi
- Walking distance: 18km, 6-7 hours
- Camp altitude: 4,010m
- Ascend to the Nyilila pass (4,870m)
- Pass through yak herders' tents and get a view from the top of Lingzhi Dzong
## Day 6 Lingshi – Chebisa
- Walking distance: 10km, 5-6 hours
- Camp altitude: 3,880m
- Stay on the main trail or take a diversion up to the Lingshi Dzong (4,220m)
- Pass the villages of Lingshi and Goyul
## Day 7 Chebisa – Shomuthang
- Walking distance: 17km, 6-7 hours
- Camp altitude: 4,220m
- Walk through a wide pastureland towards Gobu La (4,410m)
- Descend to Shakshepasa (3,980m)
- Reach the campsite at Shomuthang
## Day 8 Shomuthang – Robluthang
- Walking distance: 18km, 6-7 hours
- Camp altitude: 4,160m
- Climb up the valley to view Kang Bum (6,526m)
- Reach Jhari La (4,750m)
- Camp by the river at Robluthang
## Day 9 Robluthang – Limithang
- Walking distance: 19km, 6-7 hours
- Camp altitude: 4,140m
- Descend to a stone house where Laya women sell weaving products
- Cross the Kango Chhu and soon reach the Limithang campsite
## Day 10 Limithang – Laya
- Walking distance: 10km, 4-5 hours
- Camp altitude: 3,840m
- Walk the trail leading to the west side
of Laya village
- View Gangchhenta and catch a glimpse of Masagang
- Camp next to the local village centre
## Day 11 Laya – Koina
- Walking distance: 19km, 6-7 hours walk

## Day 12 Koina – Gasa
- Walking distance: 14 km, 6-7 hours

## Day 13 Gasa – Damji

## Day 14 Damji – Tashithang

- Descend into a lush semi-tropical gorge
filled with banana trees

- A good level of fitness is necessary
- Not suitable for children aged 0-13 and dependent on fitness levels
- Not suitable for those with a respiratory, cardiac, or circulatory disorder or a disability that limits mobility
- You will be required to send a scanned copy of your passport (with 6 months validity) in order to apply for the visa - the rest of the application procedure is taken care of for you
- Tour begins at Paro International Airport and ends at Gauwahati Airport in India or Jaigoan of India (border town to Bhutan) if by road, or Paro International Airport
- Fees are calculated based on number of nights. For example, for a 5 day 4 night tour, you will be paying based on 4 overnight stays in Bhutan and not for the number of day
