Tanjong Beach, Singapore Overview

Revered for its white sandy shoreline, the man-made Tanjong Beach is nestled pristinely on Sentosa Island of Singapore. It is less crowded as compared to the other two touristic beaches on Sentosa, and attracts people who come here to take a break from the chaotic life of the city.

Most tipplers gather at the Tanjong Beach Club for its world-famous parties like Full Steam Ahead and Smack My Beach Up.

Savouring mouth-watering delicacies: Tourists coming to Tanjong Beach always leave with their tummies filled in with delightful culinary fares, ranging from Mai Tai, tuna crackers, Columbian Chicken, and a variety of gourmet dishes cooked by world-famous chefs.

Watersports: Come to Tanjong Beach to enjoy water sports like kayaking and surfboarding. There are renting stalls where one can rent kayaks and surfboards. In addition to these sports, there is also the option to play volleyball at the court here.

How to Reach Tanjong Beach

The Tanjong Beach is situated along the Tanjong Beach Walk which is exactly opposite to the Sentosa Golf Club grounds. Even if you are not able to trace the beach, do not hesitate in asking any of the taxi driver or locals about the route to the beach. For those people who are visiting Sentosa Island for the first time, renting a car or hiring a taxi in one of the best options to reach directly to Tanjong Beach.

If travelling by bus, get down at the Beach Station. If you are travelling via the Tram, you need to de-board the Palawan–Tanjong Beach Tram at Tanjong Beach Station to reach the beach.
