Lakshadweep in Winter ( September - February )

Perhaps the best time to plan your getaway to the serene Lakshadweep Islands is between September and February. Not only do you get to enjoy all the water sports that these islands have to offer, but you also get to enjoy comfortable weather, with temperatures that stay in between 20-degree Celsius and 30-degree Celsius.

The cool sea breeze, the chilly nights, and the soothing mornings blend to give you the perfect winter vacation. This season is also quite famous for taking honeymoon trips, owing to the romantic aura that gives the beauteous Lakshadweep Islands the enhanced charm that makes it one of the best destinations.

Lakshadweep in Summer ( March - May )

One of the ideal times to visit Lakshadweep Islands, the summer months, falling between March and May, experience temperatures that range from 22 degree Celsius to 35 degree Celsius. Summers here are accompanied by a smorgasbord of adventure activities, which include various water sports. Be it scuba diving, snorkelling, or plain old swimming; once you decide to take part in any sport, you shall not be disappointed.

Lakshadweep in Monsoon ( June - August )

Monsoons are undoubtedly beautiful, but they may hinder a lovely vacation beyond measure. If you are looking for a tranquil trip with no troubles whatsoever, it is better to steer clear of the Lakshadweep Islands between June and August. With temperatures that fluctuate between 30 degree Celsius and 35 degree Celsius, Lakshadweep remains extremely humid for most of the monsoon months. Besides, the frequent, torrential downpour also leads to the inaccessibility to this area as the ships are deemed unable to cross the seas in such unpredictable weather conditions. However, the beautiful islands of Bangaram and Agatti can be accessed, since there are flights available to these places from Kochi. During this season, the only mode of transport that can take you from Bangaram to Agatti and vice versa is the helicopter. However, if you wish to make a trip to the Kadmat, Kavaratti, or the Minicoy Islands that lie nearby, even helicopters cannot do anything to help you.
