Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar - Shikara Ride on Dal Lake
  • Arrive in Srinagar and transfer to Hotel.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure.
  • In the afternoon, Shikara rides on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty God has graced this city with, which is often compared to Venice.
  • You will get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake.
  • Overnight at Hotel.
  • After breakfast, leave for a full-day excursion for Sonamarg, situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft.
  • Sonamarg also called "The meadow of gold" has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky.
  • The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahseer.
  • Ponies can be hired (at your own cost) for the trip to Thajiwas glacier, a major local attraction during the summer. Return back to Srinagar.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel.
  • After breakfast, check in to the Hotel and visit the Mughal Gardens, "Chashm-E- Shahi" (The Royal spring), "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure) and "Shalimar" (Abode of All).

  • Evening return back to Srinagar.

  • This morning after breakfast, drive to Pahalgam 2440 Meters (Vale of Kashmir).
  • On arrival, check into your hotel. On the way, visit Saffron field and Avantipur ruins, an eleven hundred years old temple.

  • After having Prasad proceed to Bhairo Baba Temple by horse and reach the helipad by horse to fly down to Katra.
  • You can also walk down by foot to reach Katra.
  • After returning to Katra relax in the hotel.
