The hospitality of the house owners , food of the place was out of the world , homemade authentic pahadi food . Just loved the premium deluxe room with amazing view .

Location and food was just awesome.

Difficult to locate the property and road to the property is very poor. Try to check in during day time. It is very dangerous to drive after sunset.

Excellent room, non intrusive hosts, good food.

The host is very helpful in trying to locate the property. Mountain roads being tricky, she helped us with clear directions and even sent us a hand drawn map of the roads. Ours was a last minute booking and yet the host ensured there was hot food for us when we arrived late in the evening. We had booked the master suite which had a panoramic view of the valley and apple plantation below. The meals were reasonably priced and very tasty and the host team is very accommodating, courteous and non-intrusive in general.

There is no private parking on the property. However, the host helps in finding a public parking, Also while there is hot water 24/7, the suite was missing a shower so bucket and hand mug it was. :)

Peaceful, welcoming, beautiful. Can't wait to come back.

We give this place our highest recommendation. The view is beautiful 24hrs a day. Cheog is peaceful, with kind welcoming people. The family who hosted us, as well as the caretaker, were so helpful, kind, generous, and welcoming. The food was incredible, home cooked on site, as was the curd, made from the milk of the cows on site. I was allowed to help with milking! The location is so lovely for getting away. It is not too hard to get to Shimla by bus, or you can get anywhere by taxi. This place is such good value, we enjoyed our stay so much, we really hope we can come back.

Awesome homestay with warm hosts n delicious food

The homestay was exceptional. Key points: excellent view from the room, cozy n spacious rooms, delicious homecooked food, warm hosts and furry friends named Ruby n roofus. The stay was awesome, Peaceful n trouble free. P.s. go for the standard room, delux room doesn't comes with a balcony. I switched rooms as it was available at that time.

That I had a limited stay there.
