Ziwa Beach Resort

It is a nice resort hotel right on the beach with many rooms spread across the property. Whilst it was a nice place to sleep and relax, I wouldn't book here again. It has a restaurant that only attracts the guests for breakfast which is included in the costs, BUT, and this is a major thing, they are a vegetarian restaurant. So the only thing you can eat if you are not a stupid vegan is cereal, toast or eggs, everything else is just disgusting vegan food. If I had known it was a vegan establishment I would have booked elsewhere. The craziest thing in business I have ever seen which is just ridiculous is that the owner is spending money on enlarging the restaurant, but you never really see anyone eating there after breakfast. Everyone just goes to the other restaurants which are always so busy and serve real food and not vegan rubbish that I look at and would even feed it to my dog. Why would you increase your restaurant size when all your customers go elsewhere because you only have a vegan menu?? It makes no sense in business. Other restaurants have a choice of vegan and traditional and are always packed with people, this place is a virtual ghost town after breakfast, so why would a business choose to be so stubborn and not see that their guests don't like the menu and simply spend their money elsewhere, it is sheer stupidity in business not to see and cater to what your guests want, but I guess everyone is like me and the vegan side of the place was never disclosed on the website. This place needs to be more forthcoming with this major thing of being vegan only, they should be called Ziwa Vegan Beach Resort, then people will be able to make an informed decision when booking. I won't come back because I have to always go elsewhere to have a decent meal, rather than sitting and being the only person in a large restaurant while everyone else is at other restaurants.
