Lobby is nice, but the room allocated was too cold and very shabby heater was provided, it was just night stay, hence it was ok. Very old room not maintained at all

This was over all one of the worst stays ever for us.

The property is badly maintained. On arrival, there were wet floors as they had been mopped. there was also a stink as the mopping water was obviously not clean. One of our rooms was a so-called heritage room purportedly 100 years old. The room was extremely cold and uncomfortable with a lumpy mattress. a rod heater was provided, which also did not function. The tap was broken with water constantly running. On our request for a change of room, we were shown a room on the top desolate corner of the property, which was not even an option. Ultimately, we had to pay double the amount for a room in the new wing of the property. Housekeeping was below par and all common areas were uncomfortably cold with non-functional heaters. Only the new dining area was centrally heated. Food and restaurant service was pathetic and shoddy.

Will never prefer to visit again.

Not much . Good breakfast and service staff.

Torn, patchy and dusty carpets. Kept running taps and waste valuable water till the hot water starts flowing everytime. Criminal waste. Room was too far away and upstairs. No heritage feel. One reception staff, Simran was extremely discourteous and bullying. Immediately after booking she called me to deposit advance and told that booking through Booking.com warrants this. After a lot of requests she agreed to pay on arrival.

A treasure of a hotel the very best in Shimla!

Beautiful hotel and lovely staff-made our stay very special huge room ultra clean and set in a beautiful flowery lawn in the peace garden f the Himalayan mountains it was just perfect!
