Outstanding !

The staff is awesome , very kind ; you can swim and snorkel in clean water in front of the hotel ; the room was very good and it was such a pleasant stay.

Is a little bit far but it is worthy , it is very quiet and not many people around . I will say theres nothing wrong with it.

Serene and relaxing! Home away from home

The property was absolutely beautiful and spotless. The staff were amazing and so were the breakfasts. Perfect location - quiet but not too far to bike into the hustle and bustle. Amazing snorkelling at the beach behind the resort, including sea turtles!

- away from parties and loud music - remote location - separate rooms all on first floor - nice small swimming pool

- remote location need bike for commuting (40k) - breakfast could be improoved

Luxury in the secluded and non noisey part of gili t

Highlight of Wilsons retreat for us was the Julu suite (very well designed and impeccably clean ) , the highly courteous and professional staff especially the front office and kitchen staff (the servers make the dining extremely comfortable) and the three cats on the property ( every guest I saw interacted with the fur babies ) they make it so much more special for guests ! A humble request to the owners please make sure the cats are well fed ) the babies seemed hungry and skinny looking ! Highly recommend renting the bicycles from the property as they were the most reasonably priced we found on the island .

I didnt find fault but read the reviews saying beach is nice next to the property but its not walkable nor can u swim it has very sharp corals / rocks . That in no way dampened our joy or pleasure !

Better places to stay, this is not one of them.

The property has great design aesthetic, quiet. The staff themselves were nice - owners/upper management were not very understanding or cordial.

If you are looking for a place to stay with proper AC, this is not the place. We asked to change rooms twice and the AC still did not cool the room enough due to lack of insulation inside each building (thatch roof), lack of power from the unit itself and the size of the rooms. This made us decide to leave to another hotel, whose AC worked properly. The property also refused to refund us (they ended up refunding one night), even though we never stayed in the room (we booked two nights). We were asked to leave and come back so that the room(s) would cool down. However, neither room did, so basically the room we received was used to store our luggage for a couple of hours and we had to get booking.com involved in order to get a refund of any sort, and we had to eat the costs of luggage transport to and from the hotel since its so far out. The location is far from most venues and the main shopping areas of the island. You have to pay for bike rentals where as other hotels you can get them included with your room.. Same goes for breakfast.. All in all, we would not recommend staying at this hotel, there are much better hotels on the island. Just stay on the west side of the island or the southern part of the port strip if you want to avoid more noise but stay within shop distance.

Perfect, relaxing stay here for our family of 5 who just wanted to snorkel all day with the turtles off the beach till t

Our family of 5 spent the perfect week at this lovely place, swimming everyday off the beach with turtles and good coral with lots of marine life. It is in a very quiet and peaceful part of the island which we loved. In the evenings the hotel next door played an outdoor movie on the big screen with popcorn and candy floss for the kids. The staff were lovely throughout and helped organise a birthday meal on the beach for our sons 13th. It is very clean and offers a good breakfast. The kids loved the private pool in our two bed villa and the fantastic, big, outdoor bathrooms.

The ride by horse and cart to the Main Street on the other side of the island is quite long and bumpy, especially with 3 children, but was not really a problem and for us it was more of a benefit being on the peaceful and quiet side of the island with great snorkeling.
