Great location and a comfortable stay

Stayed here for two nights. Located next to Luzern main train station and 5 minutes walk to the boat / ferry station (for those taking excursions etc). Rooms facing front of hotel are a bit noisy due to the location of the hotel. During my stay, upon request, I was moved by Nadim (at reception) to a room facing the courtyard. Newly renovated beautiful room. Super quiet (room 5002). Laura and Nadim at reception both were super helpful and courteous. There is a restaurant within the hotel which I didnt try. McDonalds, Burger King and a super market all literally across the street along with many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. I would give this hotel a 10+ for the location. Had a great comfortable stay at this property. Special THANK YOU to Nadim at reception for the awesome room upgrade!

We stayed a week and would stay again!

The location of this older Swiss hotel was perfect for us. It was only a block from the main train station and very easy to get to with large luggage. The standard room option was VERY large for an older European hotel of this age. The staff, for the most part were very helpful.

Breakfast. Although we didn't pay for this - thankfully, it was probably the worst European breakfast offering we had ever experienced. The amount of food presented at the buffet was enough to feed maybe four people? We laughed between each other, asking if they just wanted things to be REALLY fresh? Who knows. But, lesson learned and we enjoyed an amazing Cafe style breakfast a block away at the Movin-Pick.
